The jury of the 63rd Ribeiro Wine Fair Poster Contest met today at the headquarters of the Ribeiro Regulatory Council, in Ribadavia, to choose the poster that will represent the Ribeiro Wine Fair 2026, which will take place in the town of Ribadavia from May 1 to 3. #FVR2026, Concello de Ribadavia.
The winning work was designed by Ángel Ligero Martínez, from Alfaro, La Rioja, and was selected among 52 entries submitted in this edition of the contest. He is a designer and painter, passionate about poster art, with countless awards for his creations over the years. Regarding his work entitled “Our Land”, he explains that the idea he wanted to convey is “the union of a people, of a land, through its wines, creating something with heart and feeling.”
He also adds that he wanted to convey “a fusion of elements that unite the feelings for a wine, a grape, a land, a festival, a designation of origin, playing with the colors of the wine, the grapes, and even the landscape over time.”
